DURABILITY

All aluminium windows and doors are covered by a durability requirement - ref: Building act 1991B2.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend washing your balustrading every six months with a mild detergent in warm water to remove accumulated dirt, grime and air born salt deposits. In areas where pollutants are more prevalent, such as beach houses and geothermal or industrial areas, cleaning every three months is recommended.

All products designed comply with building codes B1, B2, F2, C2 and D1 which are certified to the following NZ standards.

• NZS4211 Specification for performance of windows.
• NZS3504 Specification for aluminium windows.
• NZS4203 Specification for structural loadings.
• NZS4223 Part 3 1993 Specification for the glass used.
• NZS1170:2002 New specifications.
